Collaborative Teaching Team

Young learners at Dresden are working on vowel sounds to help students kindergarten through second grade meet their learning targets.

The collaborative teaching team working with the small groups is composed of kindergarten teacher Mrs. Stover, first grade teacher Mrs. Hart, and second grade teacher Mrs. Skelton. Also working with these new groupings are special education teacher Mrs. Burk, Title 1 teacher Mrs. Desmond, and educational technicians Mrs. Stilphen and Mrs. Lynch.

The seven person team each works with a small group of mixed-age learners. The students are excited to travel to a different classroom for word work that meets their specific needs.

The goal of the groupings is to help students achieve their targets, and will change as students are successful.  Teachers are energized and learning from each other as well.

Student centered learning is thriving!

Snow day, 27 January

January

In January
it’s so nice
while slipping
on the sliding ice
to sip hot chicken soup
with rice.
Sipping once
sipping twice
sipping chicken soup
with rice.
